Loving God and Others

We love God and one another, as God first loved us.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (1 John 4:11)

And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your  heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37-39)

Following Jesus

We follow the teachings of Jesus, as an expression of our love for Him.

If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. (John 14:15)

If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. (John 12:26)

Serving Our Community

We serve others at their point of need, as Jesus served us.

“…even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)

…through love serve one another. (Galatians 5:13)
